My clutch was replaced in August, as was the flywheel and throwout bearing. It has 5,000 miles on it at most, and I don't drive it too hard. When I let the clutch out at a dead stop in any gear, I get a nasty grinding noise when the pedal is about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way out.

Thank you very much for the instruction sir, but I already did all of the above, the grinding sound is inside the clutch housing, the sound come out during a quick acceleration just a fraction before the clutch fully engage then gone when the clutch fully engage.I already replace all the clutch friction plate and the clutch steel plate except the clutch hub and the pressure plate.
Here starts the fun...I originaly took the box off the car as I couldnt get the clutch to unbite and so couldnt select a gear due to the grinding. I naturaly thought the clutch plate was stuck to the flywheel or pressure plate. When I took it apart the clutch plate just fell out. On inspection the plate was down to the rivets so I had it religned.
Once loaded, the 'looseness' of the worn bearing is tightend somewhat by the load itself as it is squeezed between the clutch fork and the pressure plate. Basically, the 'grinding' is an obnoxious rattle due to a worn (nearly worn out), TO bearing.
