The rear differential oil seal is pretty straight forward to change except that you have to reset the "pre-load" on the differential afterwards using a new crush collar. If you get it wrong then you need another crush collar etc. etc. I would be tempted to change the oil seal and crush collar and ignore their reference to the rear prop.
